How to delete your account

You can delete your TaxSaleMap account and its associated data at any time, in either of these ways:

In the app:

1. Open the More tab.
2. Tap Account Management.
3. Tap Delete Account, then confirm (you may be asked to re-enter your password / re-authenticate for security).

Or by email: send a request from your account email address to support@taxsalemap.com and we will process the deletion promptly.

What data is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data, including your account/login (email and account identifier), any feedback you submitted, and your login history — within 30 days of your request. Map data cached on your device can be removed any time from More → Data Control → Delete Cached Map Data.

What data is kept (anonymized or for legal reasons)

• Usage activity — the states, counties, and parcels you searched — is anonymized: it is permanently stripped of any link to you (no email, no account identifier) and may be retained in aggregate for analytics and product improvement. In this anonymized form it can no longer be associated with you.
• Limited billing and transaction records are held by our payment processors (Stripe and, on Android, Google Play) and retained as required by tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. These records do not contain your app usage data.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To stop billing, cancel your subscription before (or after) deletion: on the web via More → Manage Subscription, or through your Google Play / App Store subscription settings on mobile.
